Zimmer Biomet grows net sales by 4.8% in Q2: 10 things to know

Medtech company Zimmer Biomet recorded $2.2 billion in net sales during the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 4.8%, according to its Aug. 5 financial report. 

Here are 10 things to know:

  1. Net sales in the U.S. totaled $1.24 billion, and international net sales accounted for $937 million in the second quarter of 2026. 
  2. Knee products accounted for $829 million in net sales during the second quarter, increasing 0.4%.
  3. Hip products accounted for $563 million in net sales, growing 5%.
  4. Sports medicine, extremities, trauma, craniomaxillofacial and thoracic products accounted for $586 million in net sales, climbing 6.4%.
  5. Technology and data, bone cement and surgical products accounted for $199 million in net sales, a jump of 21.1%.
  6. Zimmer Biomet’s net sales for the first half of 2026 totaled $4.26 billion, an increase of 7% compared to the first half of 2025.
  7. Net earnings for the second quarter of 2026 were $198 million.
  8. The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance from a range of 2.5% to 4.5% to a new range of 3.9% to 4.9%. 
  9. Zimmer Biomet’s next-generation ROSA Shoulder System received FDA clearance in May.
  10. The company is planning to repurchase up to $1 billion of its common stock during fiscal year 2026.
