WalkAI uses an artificial intelligence model to identify patients who may have a lower gait speed 90 days after hip or knee surgery, according to a news release. It is the devicemaker’s first AI-based software and integrates with the Mymobility care management platform.

An algorithm analyzes a patient’s mobility to predict their walking speed after surgery. Patient data is compared to anonymized real-world data from the ZBEdge database.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
