Operation Walk USA provides free joint replacement procedures to uninsured patients living at or below 30 percent of the federal poverty line.

Qualified patients can apply in April to undergo the procedures in December.

“We are proud to be able to participate in Operation Walk USA again this year. Joint replacements can be life-changing surgeries, and it is an honor to be able to provide them for patients who may not have been able to afford it otherwise,” said Benjamin Frye, MD, Operation Walk program director at WVU Medicine.
