WellSpan has selected Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster (Pa.) to be a preferred orthopedic partner in its east region network.
Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster has provided bone, joint and muscle care to Lancaster and Lebanon counties since 1972, according to a July 7 news release from WellSpan.
As part of the agreement, the practice will provide orthopedic on call services to the WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital’s emergency department.
Lancaster (Pa.) Orthopedic Group, WellSpan’s current preferred orthopedic partner, will remain on the hospital’s medical staff in a broader role.
The change in preferred orthopedic partners is effective Sept. 1, the release said.
