Here are four things to know:
1. The practice opened in 1973 and has grown to include five physicians. Around 30 percent of the patients were driving in from Olympia, and the practice decided to expand as their patient base grew.
2. The five practice physicians will rotate through the new location. The practice includes two sports medicine physicians and total joint replacement surgeons.
3. The new practice will treat patients of all ages and typically can accommodate patients within 24 hours of contacting the practice.
4. Washington Orthopaedic Center currently holds several community sponsorships in Thurston County and expects to invest similarly in the surrounding areas.
