Utah college names Dr. Angela Wang as orthopedic hand division chief

Salt Lake City-based University of Utah has appointed Angela Wang, MD, as division chief of orthopedic hand surgery. 

Dr. Wang has extensive experience in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery, according to a March 24 news release from the university. 

In the role, Dr. Wang will lead academic pursuits in the field of hand and upper extremity surgery and ensure continued leadership in patient care. 

Dr. Wang currently practices at the University Orthopaedic Center, Primary Children’s Center, South Jordan Health Center and Shriners Hospitals for Children, the release said.
