Utah clinic debuts state’s 1st minimally invasive trigger finger release case

Pleasant Grove, Utah-based In2it Medical performed the state’s first minimally invasive trigger finger release procedure, the practice said March 23.

The procedure was performed using Sonex Health’s UltraGuideTFR, a hand-held device that uses ultrasound guidance to treat trigger finger through a small incision that can be closed with an adhesive strip or bandage. 

The first trigger finger case using this device was completed in January.
