UT Health San Antonio has formed a new partnership with the San Antonio Missions baseball club.
This is the latest sports medicine partnership for UT Health San Antonio, which also serves as provider for the UTSA Roadrunners, a collegiate athletic program representing the University of Texas at San Antonio, and the San Antonio Spurs, according to a May 5 news release.
Physicians from UT Health San Antonio will be onsite for all Missions home games, providing immediate on-site care.
UT Health San Antonio is the only practice in South Texas that treats a full spectrum of orthopedic conditions, according to the release.
Earlier in May, UT Health San Antonio added orthopedic surgeon Leah Brown, MD, to serve as head of orthopedics for the Spurs.
