Ronald Ronquist, MD, joined UP Health System – Portage in Hancock, Mich., according to Up Matters.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Dr. Ronquist is a U.S. Navy veteran and served at Bremerton (Wash.) Naval Hospital and Japan-based Okinawa Naval Hospital.

 

2. A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, he is a member of the Michigan Orthopaedic Society.

 

3. He earned his medical degree from Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan.

 

4. Dr. Ronquist completed his orthopedic surgery residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Mich.
