Dr. Marcaccio is trained in both orthopedic trauma and sports medicine, specializing in the treatment of the shoulder, hip and knee, according to a July 23 news release shared with Becker’s.
In addition to his focus on the shoulder, hip and knee, Dr. Marcaccio is also experienced in treating upper and lower extremity fractures.
Dr. Marcaccio also serves as the assistant team physician for Brown University Athletics in Providence, R.I.
Dr. Marcaccio will see patients at University Orthopedics locations in East Providence, East Greenwich, Providence, and Cranston, R.I., the release said.
