Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopedics welcomed Gwynne Bragdon, MD.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. She will serve in Newport (R.I.) Hospital’s department of orthopedic surgery, division of hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery.

 

2. Dr. Bragdon specializes in hand fractures, forearm and elbow fractures, arthritis, tendonitis, peripheral nerve injuries and nerve compression problems.

 

3. She is affiliated with the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

4. She completed her hand and upper extremity fellowship at Providence-based Brown University.
