UNC Health Pardee Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Hendersonville, N.C. added J.D. Hales, III, MD, a nonoperative sports medicine physician, according to a May 13 news release.
Hepecializes in non-operative orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries, with clinical interests including minimally invasive ultrasound-guided procedures and regenerative injections such as platelet-rich plasma.
He earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee and completed both his residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
