Through the partnership, UCLA Health physicians will provide orthopedic and sports medicine care to USA Basketball’s players, according to a July 15 news release.
The health system will provide physician coverage to the men’s and women’s national teams for the next two Olympic Games and at International Basketball Federation World Cups and training camps.
UCLA Health has previously worked with the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Sparks and UCLA Athletics, the release said.
