U of Arkansas for Medical Sciences breaks ground on 115K-square-foot orthopedics facility

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences broke ground on the UAMS Health Orthopaedics & Sports Performance Center.

The 115,000-square-foot facility will have 20 exam rooms, up to six operating rooms and eight outpatient recovery beds, according to a Sept. 15 news release from UAMS. 

The center will be the home for all of the UAMS orthopedic clinics in Northwest Arkansas.

Located in Springfield, Ark., the center is expected to be completed in 2025, the release said.
