Tidelands Health adds orthopedic surgeon

Georgetown, S.C.-based Tidelands Health has added Robert Elvington, MD, to its team of orthopedic surgeons. 

Dr. Elvington provides treatment for orthopedic conditions including fractures, bursitis, carpal tunnel, rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability and tennis elbow, according to an Oct. 22 news release from Tidelands Health. 

He completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a fellowship at Insall Scott Kelly Institute. 

Dr. Elvington will provide care to patients at Tidelands Health Orthopedics at Georgetown, the release said.
