Under the agreement, Think Surgical will have exclusive distribution rights to Curexo’s Cuvis-Joint robotic platform, according to an Aug. 1 news release. The companies have a history distributing Think Surgical’s TSolution One platform in Korea and Vietnam.
The Cuvis-Joint robot is used in Korea and India, with more than 4,000 cases done with the device. Think Surgical will be responsible for getting Cuvis-Joint FDA-cleared in the U.S.
