The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey adds urgent care services: 5 things to know

Hackettstown-based The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey has added orthopedic urgent care services at its Succasunna, N.J., location.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. The orthopedic practice is the first in northwest New Jersey to add an urgent care center designed exclusively for emergency orthopedic care.

 

2. The practice includes 14 board-certified physicians and staff members providing care for a number of musculoskeletal conditions including conditions of the knee, hand and shoulder.

 

3. The urgent care center offers treatments for dislocations, concussions, sports and overuse injuries, as well as strains and sprains.

 

4. The center will also offer walk-in hours.

 

5. The practice includes a number of New Jersey-based locations, including Hackettstown, Succasunna, Newton and Sparta.
