The Joint Commission recertifies Ocean Medical Center’s joint replacement program

Ocean Medical Center in Brick, N.J., earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for its hip and knee joint replacement program once again.

Ocean Medical Center’s joint replacement program includes board-certified surgeons as well as nationally certified nurses focusing on joint replacement. The medical center underwent an intensive on-site survey this fall.

 

“Achieving Joint Commission re-certification in hip and knee replacement demonstrates our commitment to maintain excellence and continually improve the care we provide,” said Arthur K. Mark, MD, co-medical director of the joint replacement program at OMC.
