The highest-paying states for orthopedic surgeons since 2021

Minnesota is the state where orthopedic surgeons are paid the most, according to the most recent data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, published at the beginning of April.

Here are the three states where orthopedic surgeons over the last three years, according to BLS data: 

2021

Georgia: $381,830 per year

2022

Hawaii: $554,520

2023

Minnesota: $565,450
