Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands names Dr. Jeffrey Shilt chief surgical officer: 4 notes

Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, slated to open in 2017, named Jeffrey S. Shilt, MD, chief surgical officer, according to a report by The Paper.

1. Dr. Shilt has also been welcomed as a member of the Division of Orthopedics at Texas Children’s and a faculty member at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

 
2. He is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and comes to Texas Children’s from St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho.

 

3. He has also previously held positions as an associate professor and residency program director at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

 

4. Dr. Shilt completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
