Tennessee orthopedic practice celebrates 75th year

Johnson City, Tenn.-based Watauga Orthopedics is celebrating its 75th year in practice this year. 

Howell Sherrod, MD, founded the practice in 1950 when he opened the first orthopedic clinic in the region, according to a LinkedIn post from Watauga Orthopedics. 

Services and specialties provided by the practice include spine, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, hip and knee, joint replacements, pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine. 

In addition to Johnson City, the Watauga Orthopedics has locations in Kingsport, Bristol and Greenville, Tenn., according to its website
