Appalachian Orthopedics & Neurosurgery will add Eric Taris, DO, a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand surgeon, to its Johnson City, Tenn., practice in September.
Dr. Taris specializes in evaluating, diagnosing and treating injuries and conditions affecting the hand, wrist and arm, according to a news release from the organization. He offers surgical and nonsurgical treatment options.
His specialties include hand and wrist injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, nerve and tendon repair, amputation care and wide awake local anesthesia no tourniquet surgery. He also treats elbow and shoulder injuries.
Appalachian Orthopedics & Neurosurgery has five facilities in Abingdon, Bristol, Elizabethton and Johnson City, Tenn.
