Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is set to open an orthopedic-focused ambulatory surgery center in Murfreesboro, Tenn., according to an Aug. 12 report from WGNS Radio

The Westlawn Surgery Center was constructed through a partnership between TOA, Ascension Saint Thomas and United Surgical Partners International.

The 13,000-square-foot facility includes three surgical suites, pre-op and recovery areas, and imaging services.

An open house is planned Aug. 14 to celebrate the center’s official opening, the report said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
