Here are five things to know:
1. TMA awarded Dr. Rosen one of three 2017 Outstanding Physician Awards. He practiced in Tennessee for multiple decades until his retirement in 2009.
2. Early in his career, Dr. Rosen spent two years as a major and staff orthopedist in the United States Air Force before joining Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance; he currently serves as president of the 50-provider group.
3. In addition to his leadership role with Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, Dr. Rosen is the medical director-utilization manager with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. He also serves as the director for medical affairs at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
4. Throughout his career, Dr. Rosen served on the board of directors for the Tennessee Foundation for Quality Patient Care and in leadership positions for the Tennessee Medical Association and Tennessee Orthopaedic Society.
