Renovations on the hospital’s first and second floors will provide space for short-stay orthopedic surgeries such as hip and knee replacements.
The hospital is adding an eighth operating room and a 24-bed preoperative and recovery area.
West Tennessee Healthcare acquired the hospital, formerly Regional Jackson, from Knoxville, Tenn.-based Tennova Healthcare in 2018.
