Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists adds shoulder and elbow surgeon

Syracuse (N.Y.) Orthopedic Specialists has added David DiStefano, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, to its joint replacement and sports medicine teams. 

He specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery, including fracture care, tendon and ligament repair and reconstruction, and arthroplasty, according to a Sept. 11 system news release. 

He is accepting new patients at SOS locations in Camillus, Dewitt, North Syracuse and Clay, N.Y.
