Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation, part of Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health, has partnered with a California orthopedic and sports medicine practice.
The organization added Cal Sports & Orthopaedic Institute to its network, expanding care in Orinda, Berkeley and Oakland, Calif., according to a Dec. 18 news release from Sutter Health.
Cal Sports & Orthopaedic Institute is led by seven orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine specialists, according to its website.
In addition, Sutter East Bay Medical Foundation cut the ribbon on its expanded orthopedic surgery, sports medicine and podiatry clinic in Oakland, Calif.
Sutter Health plans to add 50 new primary care providers in Oakland and Berkeley over the next three years, the release said.
