The software is designed for joint surgery and is based on SMAIO’s Balance Anaylzer 3D software, according to a June 8 company news release.
SMAIO and NuVasive initially partnered in 2022. Under the partnership terms, NuVasive will pay $3 million to SMAIO after this milestone. The companies plan to integrate the Balance Analyzer 3D into NuVasive’s platform.
