Woodbury, Minn.-based Summit Orthopedics opened its Plymouth (Minn.) Surgery Center and provided care to the center’s first patient.
Same-day orthopedic procedures offered at the new facility include joint replacement surgery, hand and wrist procedures, spine surgeries and sports medicine and arthroscopic procedures, according to an Oct. 8 news release from Summit Orthopedics.
Summit opened the surgery center on the same campus as a new orthopedic clinic, an urgent care center and physical therapy practice.
The surgery center opened Oct. 6, the release said.
