Stryker’s net sales climb 9.4% to $6.6B: 7 things to know

Orthopedic medtech company Stryker saw a 9.4% increase in reported net sales in the second quarter of 2026, climbing to $6.6 billion, according to a July 30 news release from the company. 

Here are seven things to know:

  1. Stryker’s reported net earnings came in at $1.3 billion, an increase of 44.3% in the quarter. Adjusted net earnings were up 17.6%, reaching $1.4 billion.
  2. Reported net earnings per diluted share were $3.30, up 44.1% in the quarter. Adjusted net earnings per diluted share were $3.69, an increase of 17.9%.
  3. Reported net sales in MedSurg and Neurotechnology accounted for $3.6 billion in the second quarter of 2026, increasing 9.7% compared to the second quarter of 2025.
  4. Reported net orthopedic sales jumped 9.1%, reaching $3 billion.
  5. In the first half of 2026, Stryker reported $12.6 billion in net sales and a cost of sales of $4.3 billion.
  6. For the full year, the company is expecting organic net sales growth in the range of 8.3% to 9.3% and adjusted net earnings per diluted share in the range of $14.95 to $15.10.
  7. Stryker’s CEO Kevin Lobo tied the results to the company’s recovery from a cybersecurity incident first reported in March 2026. “We made significant progress in our recovery from the cyber incident, delivering strong growth in sales, earnings per share and operating cash flow in the second quarter,” Mr. Lobo said in the release. “With our steady cadence of innovation and disciplined operational execution, we enter the second half of 2026 with regained momentum.”
