The Pangea systems first earned FDA 510(k) clearance in September and were approved for femur, fibula, tibia, humerus and utility use.

Pangea offers streamlined instrumentation and implant trays that include 20 anatomic plates and 13 utility plates that are all accessible through just one platform.

The system is indicated for the internal fixation and stabilization of bone fractures, osteotomies and arthrodesis in normal and osteopenic bone.

So far, 26 surgeons have pioneered work with Pangea.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
