Stryker launches new hip nailing system in Europe

Stryker launched its Gamma4 hip fracture nailing system in Europe, the devicemaker said March 26.

Gamma4 was released in the U.S in 2022 and has been used in more than 25,000 cases in North America and Japan.

It has a precision pin designed to reduce skiving by 66% compared to a ∅3.2 K-wire, according to a news release. Gamma4 is also designed to work with Stryker’s existing instrument platforms.
