Stryker launches hip device compatible with robotic system

Stryker launched its Insignia hip stem for total hip and hemiarthroplasty procedures, the devicemaker said March 22.

3 things to know:

1. Insignia is compatible with Stryker’s Mako SmartRobotics, according to a news release.

2. It has a broach with three tooth geometries and size-specific collar lengths.

3. The device is designed for ease of lateralization and insertion during cases, the release said.
