Medtech company Stryker was hit with a global network disruption due to a cyberattack on its Microsoft environment, according to a March 11 announcement on LinkedIn.

There isn’t any indication of ransomware or malware, and the incident is believed to be contained, Stryker’s initial post said. In a March 12 update on LinkedIn, Stryker said the company was continuing to resolve the disruption.

Products like Mako orthopedic robots, Vocera and LIFEPAK35 are safe to use, Stryker said.

“At this time, there is no indication of malware or ransomware and we believe the situation is contained to our internal Microsoft environment only,” Stryker’s post said.
