The 117,000-square-foot Orthopedic Health and Performance Center will include five operating rooms, physical and occupational therapy, performance training areas, orthopedic urgent care, a basketball court and a motion analysis lab, the report said. It is a joint venture with Phoenix-based Atlas Healthcare Partners.
The center is set for a 2024 opening, the report said. It is intended to transition many of Spectrum’s outpatient orthopedic procedures out of its hospitals and into the lower-cost ASC setting.
The facility is expected to handle 3,059 cases in the first 12 months of operation, and 5,640 cases in its second year, the report said.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
