The new $25 million, 70,000-square-foot facility will house Southeast’s orthopedic and sports medicine center, as well as a women’s integrated health center.
The facility is also expected to create 100 new jobs in the area, according to the report. The center will open to patients on Jan. 16.
The next phase of Southeast’s expansion will include the development of a $20 million ASC and a $50 million emergency services department.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
