New Bedford, Mass.-based Southcoast Health has expanded its medical staff with the addition of an orthopedic surgeon and neurosurgeon.
The health system added orthopedic surgeon Jack Carroll, MD, and neurosurgeon Raj Thakrar, MD, according to an Oct. 10 news release from Southcoast Health.
Dr. Carroll is an expert in primary and revision joint replacements, robotics and direct anterior total hip replacements. He will treat patients at Southcoast Health Orthopedics in Wareham, Mass.
Dr. Thakrar performs minimally invasive procedures. He will provide care at Southcoast Health Brain & Spine in Dartmouth, Mass.
