South Island Orthopedics has added Munif Hussain, DO, to its staff.
Dr. Hussain is a sports medicine physician with experience in nonsurgical musculoskeletal care and sports medicine, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Hussain specializes in ultrasound-guided procedures, and offers advanced therapies including platelet-rich plasma, prolotherapy, sclerotherapy, regenerative stem cell derivatives, hyaluronic acid and corticosteroid injections.
He will provide care at South Island Orthopedics’ locations in Cedarhurst and Rockville Center, N.Y., the release said.
