Summit combines a 4K arthrocsope with Pristine Connect, a cloud-based software for imaging, according to a news release. The device is 100 percent sterile and is designed to address challenges with conventional surgical visualization.
“The Summit single-use arthroscope represents a new paradigm in arthroscopy, improving a procedure that hasn’t changed much in my 42 years of practice and beyond,” Stephen Snyder, MD, chief medical officer at Pristine Surgical, said in the release.
Summit is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023 with a predictable and transparent subscription pricing model.
