SI-Bone’s iFuse TORQ TNT Implant System has received CMS’ New Technology Add-On Payment for pelvic fracture treatment.

The system is the first 3D printed, porous, threaded implant that includes lengths capable of spanning the posterior pelvis, according to an Aug. 5 LinkedIn post from SI-Bone.

Hospitals can receive up to $4,136 in additional inpatient reimbursement by adopting and using the iFuse system with the new NTAP designation.

The designation is effective Oct. 1, the post said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
