Shriners New England taps orthopedic surgeon

Springfield, Mass.-based Shriners Children’s New England has added pediatric orthopedic surgeon Elizabeth Bizier, MD, according to a Jan. 13 report from NBC affiliate WWLP.

Dr. Bizier specializes in treating children with limb and gait differences, movement disorders and congenital and neurological conditions, such as Down Syndrome, spina bifida and cerebral palsy. 

Previously, she completed an orthopedic surgery residency rotation at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford and co-founded an annual mission trip to Guatemala to treat children with orthopedic needs that she has attended for the past 15 years.
