Shoulder Innovations entered an exclusive collaboration with ALM Ortho to introduce a custom implant for severe shoulder deformity and other highly complex revision cases.
Under the collaboration, Shoulder Innovations holds exclusive rights for upper extremity applications of ALM Ortho’s solutions in the U.S., according to a Sept. 9 news release.
ALM Ortho’s implants are designed on a case-by-case basis using patient imaging data. ALM Ortho will design, manufacture and deliver the devices to surgeons, while Shoulder Innovations will identify appropriate cases and connect surgeons and facilities with the solution.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
