Seattle Children’s will open a pediatric orthopedic clinic in Kirkland, Wash., on June 22, expanding musculoskeletal and rehabilitation services for children and teens across the region.

The Seattle Children’s Kirkland Orthopedics Clinic will offer care for orthopedic conditions ranging from sprains and fractures to congenital disorders requiring long-term management. No referral will be required for appointments, according to a May 6 news release.

The clinic includes 29 patient rooms and will house specialists in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation medicine, orthotics and prosthetics and sports therapy in one location to coordinate care.

The site also features Seattle Children’s first motion analysis lab, along with point-of-care ultrasound and imaging technology for spine evaluations.

Ambulatory orthopedic services currently offered at Seattle Children’s Bellevue Clinic and Surgery Center will transition to the Kirkland location as part of the expansion.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
