Sampson Regional Medical Center to open orthopedic clinic

Clinton, N.C.-based Sampson Regional Medical Center plans to open a new orthopedic clinic in the fall, according to a June 14 report from The Sampson Independent.

The system has recruited orthopedic surgeon Mark Moriarty, MD, to lead the opening of  Sampson Orthopedic Group. 

Dr. Moriarty is joining Sampson from Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health. He specializes in all general orthopedic cases, including joints, hips and hands. 

The new orthopedic clinic will offer joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopic procedures, sports medicine treatment and other services.
