RWJBarnabas will serve as the club’s official healthcare provider, offering both sports medicine and overall healthcare services, according to a July 16 press release.
Jason Krystofiak, MD, chief of the section of sports medicine at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, will serve as the chief medical officer for Gotham FC. He is also a team physician for Rutgers University’s football team.
Peter DeLuca, MD, chief of orthopedic sports medicine at CBMC and team physician for the New Jersey Devils, will serve as the head team orthopedic physician for Gotham FC. Dr. DeLuca was also former head team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles and head of team orthopedics for the Philadelphia Flyers.
