Philadelphia-based Rothman Orthopaedics has added Michael Amini, MD, a shoulder and elbow surgeon, to its team, according to an Aug. 26 LinkedIn post.

Dr. Amini specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures and was among the first U.S. surgeons to adopt muscle-sparing shoulder replacements, which can allow patients to begin using their shoulder the same day of surgery.

He offers a range of treatments, including platelet-rich plasma therapy.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
