1. Dr. Cota underwent his orthopedic trauma fellowship at St. Vincent Indianapolis Trauma Center in Indiana.
2. Dr. McCoy underwent his primary care sports medicine fellowship at Boise-based Family Medicine Residency of Idaho and Boise State University.
3. In other news, Rocky Mountain Orthopaedic Associates’ Jeffrey Nakano, MD, was the recipient of Grand Junction-based St. Mary’s Medical Center’s Circle of Care Award.
4. Through the Circle of Care program, patients can tell individual medical staff members or a team thank you by making a donation in their honor. Winners of the award receive custom lapel pins.
