Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton earns joint commission accreditation

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton in Hamilton Township, N.J., has been reaccredited as an orthopedic center of excellence by The Joint Commission.

The commission ensures that systems continue making quality improvements for patient safety and care quality, according to a Nov. 6 press release. 

The organization evaluated RWJUH Hamilton based on performance standards across several dimensions, including emergency management, environment of care, infection prevention and control, leadership, medication management and rights and responsibilities of the individual. 

The TJC also conducted onsite observations and interviews of staff and patients.
