The Joint Commission awarded Red Bank, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health Riverview Medical Center with the Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement, according to app.com.

1. Riverview Medical Center is the first hospital in the state to earn the certification.
