Resurgens Orthopaedics has added six physician providers to its network.
Resurgens is the largest independent orthopedic practice in Georgia, supporting 94 physicians across 26 clinical locations, according to an Aug. 12 news release shared with Becker’s.
Here are the new additions to its staff:
- Charlie Yoo, DO, a total joint replacement specialist, will see patients at the Roswell and John’s Creek, Ga., office locations. Dr. Yoo completed an adult joint reconstruction fellowship at Indiana University and completed his doctoral training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Daniel Sok, MD, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. Dr. Sok completed a pain medicine fellowship at Emory University and completed his doctoral training at Emory University. He will see patients at the John’s Creek, Ga., practice.
- Evan Reuter, MD, will see patients at the Fayetteville and Newnan, Ga., locations. He is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. He completed a pain medicine fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center and completed his doctoral training at Louisiana State University.
- Derek Wendler, MD, is a foot and ankle care specialist. He completed a foot and ankle fellowship at University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed his doctoral training at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Wendler will see patients at the Windy Hill and St. Joseph’s/Sandy Springs, Ga., offices.
- Drew Slater, MD, a sports medicine specialist, will see patients at the Fayetteville, Newnan and Griffin, Ga., offices. He completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at MedStar Health at Georgetown and completed his doctoral training at Nova Southeastern University.
- Peter Harimtepathip, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon, will see patients at the Windy Hill and St. Joseph/Sandy Springs, Ga., practices. He completed a spine surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins University and his doctoral training at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
